Between his two degrees, Dr Cartland worked for a year in the Angiogenesis Research Group at The University of Birmingham, and he is a published author in angiogenesis research. In addition to this, Dr Cartland has been actively involved in the teaching of medical students and other allied health professionals.

Dr Cartland's ethos and approach

Dr Cartland has been described, by those who know him, as one of the most knowledgeable, honest, open-minded and genuine GPs that they have ever come across. Dr Cartland is aware that many patients feel abandoned and even gaslit by the medical profession, and trust in the medical profession is now at what is most probably an all-time low.

Dave

Dr Cartland has a deep and broad understanding of the complaints that so many patients now seem to be suffering from, with an acknowledgment of the true causes behind these, and a firm knowledge of the best approaches to most effectively counter the harms that have been suffered.

Dr Cartland states:

"Healthy body, healthy mind. We have become very disease-centric in General Practice, with many people having lost focus on the importance of detoxification, good nutrition, exercise and good mental health. I therefore believe in practicing preventative medicine to help counter the many harms of modern living, and I aim to provide every patient with the time, the care, the compassion and the focus that the need and that they truly deserve."
